Tamil Thambis Competing With ‘Dookudu’

Now, the box office result of the film ‘Dookudu’ pumped fresh oxygen into Tollywood business and its mind-blowing collections created a record. However, reports from Chennai are that the Kollywood folks are planning to beat ‘Dookudu’ with their Diwali release ‘Velayudham’ which is remake of the Telugu movie ‘Azad’.
As part of this, it is heard that they got the noted trade analyst Taran Adarsh to put a tweet which goes like this – “Tamil film Velayudham is rocking internationally. Opening weekend biz in UK and USA is excellent”.
Similarly, efforts are reportedly on to get articles published in foreign newspapers since ‘Dookudu’ was mentioned by LA Times. An insider from the ‘Velayudham’ camp revealed that the Tamil Thambis are also working on coming up with new initiatives to show that ‘Velayudham’ has crossed ‘Dookudu’ collections wise. Vennela Kishore On ‘Katravelli’ And ‘Aithey Ok’

In the last few months, one name is being talked about a lot in the film circles. He is Vennela Kishore. While he has already proved his mettle as an actor, Vennela Kishore is currently the hot topic for his directorial ventures. Currently, he is busy with his debut venture but already few other projects are being eyed by him.
It is known that Vennela Kishore is directing ‘Vennela 1 ½’. Recently, it was also reported that he is directing the film ‘Jaffa’ with Brahmanandam as hero. This is going to happen after ‘Vennela 1 ½’. Now, it is heard that Vennela Kishore is planning to do the story, screenplay and direction for two more projects.
Sources say he is planning to do a film titled ‘Katravelli’ with Ali and ‘Aithey Ok’ with Kondavalasa. Basically, these would be small budget movie with strong comedy material and lot of spoof, as per inside sources. As such, why those titles are chosen is known since Ali and Kondavalasa were the creators of those catchwords.

This was from her mom and sources say this was gold jewellery. Apparently, Asin has got a strong liking for jewellery and it is heard that she got an exclusive designer range jewellery from her mom. Sources say this was something Asin had liked about a month ago.

The wise men say ‘Success should always be enjoyed by heart and not by the head’. The best example for that is director Rajamouli. Despite his non-stop hits career, Rajamouli has been grounded in his approach. But then, even a popular director like Rajamouli tends to face few hiccups.
Recently, Rajamouli came up with a tweet. It goes- “Lot of people get confused between me and Vinay garu. Even a few days back Purandareshwari garu addressed me as Vinayak garu”.
Though this shocked quite a few, there are those who were rational about it. They mentioned that usually, normal people tend to feel very bad if something like this happens. But those who read this tweet say “It is indeed a great gesture from Rajamouli. Something like this is normal from someone like Purandareshwari or those who are not much into watching movies.”

Where Is Rajinikanth In ‘Ra.One’?

It can be said that ‘Ra.One’ has been a film in the recent times which was promoted to the fullest. Some felt that the film was literally choked into everyone’s throats as everywhere they go, it is either ‘Ra.One’ or Shah Rukh Khan. Anyways, all these efforts failed to give any output as the film fizzled out in theatres.
Meanwhile, one highlight USP for the film was the cameo by superstar Rajinikanth. Well, this was meant to be a one minute stint. However, those who saw the film are not really convinced if it was indeed the real Rajini. While some felt it was all the expertise of morphing and graphics, others felt it was just Rajini’s face and rest was someone else.
However, reliable sources have informed “It was indeed Rajini sir in the film. Because his presence was a blink and miss appearance, before anyone could really get into it, Rajini sir vanished. And he doesn’t have to travel all the way to Mumbai along with his technicians and spend one full day if all he had to do was drama.”
